Our History

“It was all a dream”... a line in the famous lyrics of one of the greatest rappers of all times, Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls.

Three dear friends since childhood used to dream of owning an accounting firm with celebrities as their client base, when they were just teenagers. They would all go on to earn accounting degrees in the early nineties and embark upon corporate careers to gain the experience and confidence needed to run a firm. In 2012, one of the friends who loves the line by Biggie Smalls, "no need to worry, my accountant handles that", stepped out on faith, walking away from a corporate career of 20 years to take on the opportunity of entrepreneurship, hence birthing CAM. Although two of the friends have remained in Corporate America, they have lent many hours of strategic planning and business advisory to the venture we dreamt about as teens. The business name CAM was pinned on the business by one of the founders' brothers and stuck due to what the initials represent. CAM = Consulting, Accounting, Management. But also, CAM is the initials of the founders: lifelong friends whose careers and life journeys intersected at any early age and remain stronger than ever, many years later.

In 2021, CAM was delighted to introduce a new partner to the firm, enhancing the business with phenomenal tax and accounting knowledge as well as strong experience in the area of tax technology and project management.

CAM Leadership

The leadership team of CAM is comprised of two female partners hailing from top universities in the United States. One of our partners holds an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. Our partners have served tirelessly in the corporate arena for over 25 years working for several of the largest Fortune 500 companies in banking, insurance, telecommunication, manufacturing, utility, and employment services. We currently reside in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States with the ability to serve clients in all 50 states. This team is a triple threat, possessing DRIVE, FORTITUDE, and KNOW‑HOW.

CAM Staff

CAM prides itself on developing staff in the areas of accounting and taxation. Our small staff have great educational backgrounds and have gained work experience from one of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the telecommunications sector as well as professional sports organizations and local government sector.
